Castrol EPX 85W-140 contains sulphur-phosphorous extreme pressure additives to withstand high rubbing speeds and tooth pressures. Its excellent thermal stability provides resistance to oxidation and offers good corrosion protection to both ferrous and non-ferrous components. Its anti-foam properties ensure a continuous film is maintained on gear surfaces while also preventing lubricant loss through breathers.

Castrol EPX 80W-90
High-performance gear oil
Castrol EPX 80W-90 was developed for the lubrication of spiral, bevel and hypoid differentials, but is also suitable for the lubrication of manual transmissions where the manufacturer recommends the use of an oil to API GL-5.
Load carrying performance to API GL-5 provides excellent protection to gears operating under the most severe service conditions prolonging the life of components. Multigrade characteristics give wide operating temperature range with particular benefits in low temperature performance.
